Hi Swim Parents! 

My name is Amanda Franklin, and I am thrilled to serve as your Swim Team Representative for the upcoming season! My goal this year is to support our incredible coaches, keep families informed, and ensure our swimmers have a fantastic, fun, and smooth season. I can already tell it’s going to be an amazing year! 

A little about me: I have two swimmers on the team—Cora (13), an 8th grader, and Braden (11), a 6th grader at Knox Doss. Cora has been swimming with the school since 6th grade, and Braden has spent his seasons on the Sumner County summer team. This is my second year as the Knox Doss Middle School swim rep, and I’m excited to dive back in! 

What is a Swim Team Rep? As your parent liaison, I act as the primary bridge between our coaching staff and families. In short, I'm here to help with: 

Communication: Sending out weekly updates, meet details, and schedule changes. Volunteers: Organizing parent volunteers for timing, lane judging, and hospitality. Team Spirit: Coordinating team apparel, snacks, and our end-of-season celebrations!
